Tagged

So I read Jessica Sprague's post and she was tagged. So here is my answer to the same thing.

Here are the 6 random weird things about myself. There should only be 6 and only 6. Any topic can be covered. Also any category. It is harder than you think to come up with this stuff, but here goes:

1.

I am an avid reader. I read at least one book a day. Most of my reading is by authors Laurel K Hamilton, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Katie MacAlister, Linda Lael Miller, Nora Roberts, Kay Hooper, Jacqueline Carey, Maggie Shayne, Pamela Morsi, Iris Johansen, Jude Deveraux, Christine Feehan, Julie Garwood, Johanna Lindsey, Teresa Mederios, god I could keep going. But I think you get the gist of what I enjoy romance with a bit of blood.

2.

I have yet to complete an LO but am addicted to getting freebies for Digital Scrapbooking. I can't seem to finish because it isn't perfect. Will have to get over that "Perfect" need and finish them.

3.

I would love to wear the clothing of Victorian times but don't because I'm too scared how others would perceive me and I couldn't physically do so because of the heat that the clothing creates. I have enough problems as it is with normal clothing.

4.

I have the best friend in the world; I have been blessed with her friendship. Her name is Stephanie and she keeps putting up with me. No idea why but she does. She even quit her job to take care of me when I was seriously ill. She could not afford it but dealt with the fall out without a word. Love her so much. She also put up with my crazy better half and kept him sane during my illness.

5.

I don't believe in God as in a religious aspect. My religious beliefs are very strange but they hold true to me. I have a basic tenant that I treat others as I wish them to trea

6.

I believe that my better half should rule the home and me. In order for me to have chosen him though I have to believe that his choices are the same as mine would be. His values and beliefs are similar enough to mine that it would not differ truly from what decisions I would make. That he as a person would value my input in his choices and take them into account if they differ from his initial idea. In the end his choices and decisions would be to our best interests. That to have us safe, happy and well taken care of is his major goal. He has only shown how wonderful of a man he is by all this and more. I am thankful every day that I was lucky enough to meet him and be in his life.

Man this was very hard to find 6 things. Not all are weird but not really anyone knows much about me. I'm basically a quiet person so it was hard to write about myself.

Now off to work hard on those LO's and also get back to playing with those doilies to make them look a bit more life like to me.

WOW - My First Element

Okay, I figured I was hooked when getting freebies for Scrapbooking. But now I just made my first Element. I made a lace doily. I found a wonderful tutorial and had no idea it was so easy. OMG I'm really hooked now! This isn't what I truly like in a freebie to give away, but I will be working now more on making it look more realistic. I'm so proud and hopping around like a two year old excited!

Okay I've also made a background and a few other things with Doilies. I'll keep working till I get them right. :)

The Lotto Game

This is the "what if" game.

What if I won the lotto...

What if I won a large amount of money...

What would you do is the question. Well a bunch of my friends and I have been answering this question for years. At least to each other. So Candee at Mermaid's Haven posted on her blog about this. So being me I figured I'd post what my plans are. Now remember I've had years to think of this. Also a very distant friend of mine back in Toronto had won 10 mill about 10 years ago and I learnt a lot with what happened to him.

All of this is for my Fiance and I, so if I said I, I meant it for us both. If either of us is to pass away during the process or afterwards this will be followed to the letter and the surviving person gets the "I" amount under the same conditions. If we divorce/split up then after all of the following is done any trust funds/moneys that were for both of us will be split evenly.

Any amount under 10 Million....

Pay off any outstanding debits that we have. This includes house, car, credit cards.

Anything that is left goes immediately into an investment acct, maxing out our retirement options first, then an investment base that is not touched. If there is a sufficient amount to do so with receiving a dividend from the profit of the base amount to live off. This will be paid every quarter yearly and will not exceed 10 pct of the total profit. Any profit is then returned back into the investment to create a higher base amount.

Higher than 10 Million payoff....

Of course Pay off any outstanding debits that we have.

10 Million will be placed into a investment account as the base. We can only receive a quarterly payment from any profit. Once more it can not exceed 10 pct of the total profit, and the rest is placed into the base investment. (We may only access the base in extreme hardships, I'll be working hard to make that a true reason to access it for our benefit.)

Purchase and furnish a moderate home within an area of the country we would like to live. This home must be sustainable by us with our normal income. (Since there is no rent or mortgage payment this is a good amount of money to put towards that from my pay.)

Purchase a vehicle that is in very good condition and well maintained. Maybe a year old or might even be brand new. Pay for all taxes and have 2 years worth of costs for upkeep placed into an account to have running, this includes insurance. We must replace that money with what ever income we have within the year we use it.

If money is over 15 million...

Same as ten million but in addition the following.

Up to 1 Million each (otherwise split equally what is over the 15 mill) to a trust fund account that is for the following people. The restrictions on these accounts is that they can not receive any of the funds unless it is for college and/or university. They must pass the previous years education to get new funds the following year. Otherwise the profits will be transfered each year towards a retirement account to be maxed each year, the balance of the profit to be put back into the base investment. At age 30 they will be able to access 250,000 for a paying off mortgage or purchase of a home. At 35 they will receive the balance of the 250,000 in cash for whatever they did not use towards the disbursement at 30. At age 40 and at every 5 years till retirement age or money is gone, they will receive 100,000 cash. They have the option at any time during these disbursements to keep it within the trust fund to continue to build on the investment at their choice. Retirement age can be any age over 50. There is one other disclaimer, if they become permanently disabled. The money can be accessed to keep them living a life of quality.

1. Michael - Stepson
2. Deserie - Niece
3. Devon - Nephew
4. Chelesy - Niece
5. Mason - Nephew
6. Dean - Nephew
7. Morgan - Niece
8. Jason - Nephew

If there are still funds left at this time. The following people receive money equally to max of 1 million. Any of the people listed below unless otherwise stated, their partners will have no claim on the money or their estates.

  1. Stephanie G. - Best friend - Pay off her lawyer bills and purchase house and vehicle with taxes and insurance paid for. Balance of cash if any into trust fund to be invested into an account which she will receive a quarterly disbursement yearly not to exceed 10 percent of the profits made each quarter till retirement.
  2. Donald P - T's Ex Husband - Pay off mortgage on home and a new vehicle with taxes and insurance paid for both items. Balance of cash if any into trust fund to be invested into an account which he will receive a quarterly disbursement yearly not to exceed 10 percent of the profits made each quarter till retirement.
  3. Janet M - T's Mother - Trust fund to pay for all living expenses and a cash sum every quarter yearly. If she passes before all moneys are used to be disbursed among her grandchildren.
  4. Gary L - T's Father - Trust fund to pay for all living expenses and a cash sum every quarter yearly. If he passes before all moneys are used to be disbursed among his grandchildren.
  5. Phyllis - R's Mother - Trust fund to pay for all living expenses and a cash sum every quarter yearly. If she passes before all moneys are used to be disbursed among her grandchildren.
  6. Joyce - R's Stepmother - Trust fund to pay for all living expenses and a cash sum every quarter yearly. If she passes before all moneys are used to be disbursed among her grandchildren.
  7. Karen L. - T's Sister - Trust fund after paying for any home she may currently own or wish to purchase within 3 months of disbursement. After that money to be invested into an account which she will receive a quarterly disbursement yearly not to exceed 10 percent of the profits made each quarter till retirement.
  8. Rick L. and Brenda L. - T's brother - sister-in-law - Trust fund after paying for any home they may currently own or wish to purchase within 3 months of disbursement. After that money to be invested into an account which they will receive a quarterly disbursement yearly not to exceed 10 percent of the profits made each quarter till retirement. If they divorce then it will be split in half for them.
  9. Dee L. - T's Sister - Trust fund after paying for any home she may currently own or wish to purchase within 3 months of disbursement. After that money to be invested into an account which she will receive a quarterly disbursement yearly not to exceed 10 percent of the profits made each quarter till retirement.
  10. Glen B - R's brother - Trust fund after paying for any home he may currently own or wish to purchase within 3 months of disbursement. After that money to be invested into an account which he will receive a quarterly disbursement yearly not to exceed 10 percent of the profits made each quarter till retirement.
PS. For Janet, Gary, Phyllis and Joyce the payments of living expenses does include travel for 1 month anywhere in the world with a partner included. All expenses for this travel will be covered up to 3 times a year. This does not include any emergancy flights that will have to be taken in case of family emergancies.

If we are lucky and there is any money left. PARTY TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

I will say if the money gets into the 100 millions then the base amount goes alot higher for investement first.

So as you see I have put a lot of thought into this. Been doing the "Lotto game" for years. If I am ever lucky enough to get some of this kind of money you bet I will be doing everything I can to never do without money again.

Hope this made you think a bit.

I'm learning

This tag is done by Noelle Leanne Notions who makes awesome tags and Incredimail Stationary.

Well okay I'm trying to learn how to Scrapbook through digital form. I have found out how to have some wonderful papers, elements, templates, and all sorts of neat things. These are through some wonderful artists who share freebies with us all. Once I make my first LO I will post it here. Then I can share it with family and friends.
